‘New Ford Escape and Fusion has an issue for a possible fire hazard. Ford statement that the engine could overheat and cause a fire. There’s 12 reports of fires for the Escape and one for the Fusion. The recall will affect 73,320 Escape Vehicles and 15,833 Fusions across US and Canada.

Customers being advise to contact a dealer as soon as possible and the dealership will provide rental cars at no additional charge.
FOrd still searching what cause the fault to fix the issue.
“We have identified an issue and are taking actions in the best interest of our customers,” Steve Kenner, director of Ford’s automotive safety office, said in a statement. “It is important that affected customers not ignore this recall and contact their dealer as soon as possible. While we recognize the inconvenience recalls cause our customers, we are taking these actions on their behalf to help ensure their safety.”
