Chevrolet has make debut of their Cruze compact car in the Chicago Auto show. The 2014 Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel goes on sale this year. It is new diesel car product from GM after their last diesel car produce in 1986. The diesel powered cars use about 25 percent less fuel than conventional vehicles but the fuel’s higher price tag relative to gasoline.

In attempt to rebrand the technology the automakers make the vehicles as ‘clean diesel’. The car will be use 1.8 liter 1986 Chevrolet Chevette. GM is hoping the Cruze diesel doesn’t go down the same road and hope to increase to 10 percent by 2020.

But not all people love Chevrolet Cruze Diesel, GMAuthority give their five things they dislike about the car. The main point of their reason is no manual transmission, no basic model to make things more affordable, the MCE still eludes them, overly cautious buyers may shy away from the DEF system and it doesn’t surpass the cruze eco in estimated fuel economy. I think that GM need to pay attention about this reason because it need to resolve if they want to compete with VW Jetta Diesel.
