I’m not familiar with Kia Cadenza as Kia is not really popular in Malaysia. This Korean automaker has announced at the Detroit Auto Show that the Kia Cadenza will above their Kia Optima in price, size and content. The car that known as K7 in Korea powered by 3.3 liter V-6 engine that produce 293 hp and 255 pounds feet of torque. It is paired with a six speed automatic transmission that includes a manual shift mode and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
There’s many features include adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and lane departure warning and leather interior.
In the interior of Cadenza features an advanced navigation system, a backup camera and warning system as well as a 550 watt 12 speaker audio system. The package includes full-length panoramic sunroof, a 7 inch LCD instrument cluster and premium leather seats.
The outside of Cadenza features a long hood and a swept back windshield while other similar like other Kia vehicles.
The price still not being given yet but expected it will be in U.S market in the second quarter of 2013.
Michael Sprague, executive vice presideng of marketing for Kia Motors America said
“Since the introduction of the range-topping Optima SXL last year, we have seen an increasing number of customers in our retail outlets looking for a sedan with even more upscale amenities and technology,”
Cadenza shares a platform and powertrain with the Hyundai Azera.
