As we know, the London Olympic is near and BMW has unveiled their fleet to meet the London Organizing Committe of the Olympic Games standards. The German auto maker is the official automotive partner of this year’s SUmmer Olympics and Paralympic games and will provide more than 2,700 vehicles to shuttle athletes, officials and their equipment between the various venues.
The fleet vehicles from BMW and MINI are all eco-conscious with little to no emissions and we’ll be seeing them performing various duties throughout the Olympic games from pulling boats out of the water to towing a horse ambulance or carrying medal winners.
The London shows BMW technology can achieve today in terms of fuel economy and low emissions including the first major presence of super clean EU6-compliant cars on UK roads.

What is one lap of america? Racing? Dunno but BMW has announced that their 2013 M5 Sedan will participate in the event that starting May 4,2012. The instructor from the BMW Performance Center will drive the 3,300 mile tour (eh.. it is really one lap??) that originates in South Bend, Indiana. The 2013 M5 will compete for the new ‘Showroom Stock’ recognition within the Luxury Sedan class at One Lap of America.

BMW Group Malaysia was introduced their new BMW 3 Series in Malaysia. It comes in 3 variants , BMW 320d, BMW 328i and BMW 335i.

The new BMW 3 Series also add more exclusive with 2 new BMW Lines of Luxury and Sport which feature specific exterior and interior design as well as equipment elements that give the car unmistakable character and enabling owners to tailor their BMW 3 Series to their preferences and personal lifestyle. The price of BMW 3 series is :-

The new BMW 3 Series feature the new BMW TwinPower Turbo 4 cylinder engines in the new BMW 320d and 328i.
The all new BMW 320d which is set to re-excite drivers in the segment who seek best-in-class power and efficiency in a package that delivers exceptional driving dynamics and excitement showcases a turbocharged 2.0 litre capacity engine that is fitted with variable turbine geometry (VTG), ensuring that the engine’s turbo aspect ratio is maintained at optimum levels. The new diesel variant of the BMW 3 Series also features Common Rail direct injection capable of delivering an output of 135 kW/184 hp with an exceptional 380 Nm torque reading. This enables the new BMW 320d to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.
The all new BMW 328i is the replaccement for the former BMW 325i. The new premium compact sedan now features, for the first time, the new 4-cylinder 2.0 litre capacity BMW TwinPower Turbo petrol engine which is fitted with direct injection, Valvetronic and a TwinScroll turbocharger for an output of 180 kW/245 hp and a very respectable 350 Nm torque reading, allowing the car to reach the 0-100km/h sprint in 6.1 seconds.
The segment topping variant – the BMW 335i retains the exceptional 3.0-litre inline 6-cylinder petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, direct injection, Valvetronic and TwinScroll turbocharger for an exceptional output of 225 kW/306 hp and 400 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.
The BMW 3 Series will use 8-speed automatic transmission that providing drivers with smooth driving experience.

BMW i8 hybrid sports car has been caught testing. The two seater coupe has been seen testing as the Vision EfficientDynamic concept. The car reveals the aerodynamics that will aid both downforce and efficiency. BMW i8 constructed predominantly from carbonfibre and feature the company’s new laser headlight technology. It use 1.5 litre three cylinder turbo engine with about 160kW, power the rear wheels in conjuction with an electric motor, while the front wheels are given momentum by a front mounted electric motor with nearly 100kW. It can accelerate 0-100 km/h of 4.7 seconds.
