BMW has revealed their first official pictures of facelifted BMW X6. There’s some changes at the front, kidney grille and addition of optional adptive LED headlamps. At the rear, there’s new horizontally mounted twin LED light banks emphasize the car’s width. It come with new paint such as Marrakech Brown metallic ( like the picture), Orion Silver metallic and Midnight Blue metallic and new bi-colour. It also come with 19-inch alloys for the BMW X6 xDrive 50i model.
The facelifted X6 come with five engine option, the range topping 555bhp X6M, V8 xDrive50i, six-pot xDrive35i and diesel-powered xDrive40d and xDrive30d, the latter of which is available with BMW’s nitrogen oxide-reducing BluePerformance Technology from spring. Inside the X6, there a standard leather interior is available in Vermillion Red and the nappa leather comes with Black or Ebony White.

Europe market will have new BMW 3 series launched three new models of F30 sedan the 320i (petrol version),316d (diesel) and 318d (diesel). The 320i model is four cylinder turbocharged petrol that using 2.0 liter inline-four with direct injection, twin-scroll turbocharging, double-Vanos variable camshaft timing and Valvetronic variable valve timing technologies. The output is 184HP at 5,000 rpm and and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) from 1,250 rpm. With the standard 6-speed manual, the 320i sedan accelerates in 7.3 seconds from standstill to 100 km/h (62mph), 0.9 seconds faster than its predecessor model
In the 316d, it delivers 116-horses and a maximum torque of 260 Nm (191 lb-ft) between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm propelling the sedan from zero to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds (8sp automatic: 11.3 sec), and achieving a top speed of 202 km/h (126mph).

The 316d’s average fuel consumption is 4.4 lt/100km or 53.5mpg US / 64.2mpg UK (8sp automatic: 4.5 l/100 km), with CO2 emissions of 115 and 116 g/km respectively.

In the new 318d, the diesel unit produces 143-horses at 4,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm, offering a 0-100km/h sprint time of 9.1 seconds (auto: 9.3 seconds) and a top speed of 210km/h (130mph).

BMW says it consumes on average 4.5 lt/100km (52.3mpg US or 62.8mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 117 g/km in both transmission versions.

BMW will adds rear doors to its 6-series called Gran Coupe.The car is sporty look of 6-series and also usable rear seat. The new Gran Coupe employs a conventional trunk lid rather than a hatchback. BMW use direct injection and turbocharged 3 liter inline six cylinder engine and tweaked power in eight speed automatic transmission. The Gran Coupe could accelerate 62 mph in just 4.6 seconds. It also include night vision with pedestrian detection with its new full color head-up display and LED headlights with adaptive cornering.

Toyota will make a partnership with BMW AG for environmental vehicles. The proposed agreement said that BMW will provide diesel engine with 2 liter version for midsize car for Toyota’s vehicles sold in Europe. The project still not confirm and yet to be decided.
The deal will help Toyota to reduce development expenses but it is expected to share its technology for hybrid system. The collaboration will help BMW to expand their green vehicle aftere signed a deal with PSA Peugeot Citroen Group last year.
