Are you fans of Kia? Kia K9 have opened for their booking in Korea. The new car will also be launched in others country by end of the year. Kia K9 is first rear-wheel drive saloon (saloon mean sedan, the word used for British English, Irish English and New Zealand english) and powered by a 286bhp 3.8 litre V6 petrol engine and hotter 330bhp version will be available.
The Power is driven to the rear wheels via an eight speed automatic gearbox. It is 5090mm length, 1900 mm in width and 1490mm in height and similar size to Mercedes S-class. The standard equipment features K9 LED headlamps, a lane departure warning system, radar-based blind-spot detection and an around view monitor system (AVM) with four cameras.
Peter Schreyer, Kia’s chief design officer said: “K9 is all about elegant simplicity, balanced proportions and simple surfaces.
“K9 is a clear signal of our intention and determination to compete head-to-head with the European luxury brands. And for Kia, our customers, and for me – this car is like a dream come true,”

Great car by Kia. I think it will become one of most fascinating car like Kia Forte.
Kia has update the latest design of their Kia Grand Carnival. The next generation of Kia Grand Carnival will not be a people mover that is bought just out of necessity. The Kia KV7 Concept that being revealed at last year’s Detroit motor show maybe similar to next generation Kia Grand Carnival.

Paice LLC and Baltimore’s Abell Foundation filed the suit Thursday in federal court accusing the Korean automakers of infringing three patents that litigation with TOyota after eight years of legal battles.
“Since as early as 2004, Paice has contacted Hyundai on numerous occasions and offered to discuss its patented hybrid technology,” Paice said in the complaint.
The company in 1990s has developed a high voltage method to power gas-electric vehicles that become modern hybrid technology. FOrd Motor, also agreed to license Paice’s technology to resolve lawsuits.

Kia give more power, torque, better fuel consumption and more features for their Kia Rio. The Rio sedan is equip with a four door hatchback. The grille and headlights are a bit different and the roofline follows a different coupe like contour. It also include the alumunium head and block 1.6 litre ‘Gamma’ four cylinder engine with four valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts and variable valve timing on both.
The engine is 1.6 litre inline four, dual overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, direct fuel injectrion. The power could be 138 hp. The car using six speed manual or automatic.
