Mazda has been introduced the new SKyActiv-G drivetrain for 2012 model that bring direct injection and an optimized automatic transmission. This technology could increase the fuel economy over 2.5 S model. The Mazda SkyActiv-D diesel engine will make debut in the upcoming CX-5 compact crosover with engine between 160-180 horsepower and 310-340 lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy could be surpass of 40 miles per gallon.
The Mazda 3 will have less weight that CX-5 and it will better perform.

Mazda revealed another MX-5 special edition called ‘Karai’. The Karai is likely design based on MX5 Roadster coupe. The color is likely unique with lime green paint for body and glossy black finish for the top. The other’s is trim accents at the fron grille, exterior mirros and fog lamp with the 17 inch alloy wheels. The car will use Recaro sports seats trimmed in black leather and all the interior trim is finished in a glossy black color (new than current paint, silver)

The engine for this car is 2.0 liter four cylinder petrol that could deliver 160 horses. Mazda also offer an optional sport package that includes a lowering kit, new exhaust system and few related gadget and accessories. The Karai will be build for limited 165 for German user at price €30,000 in August.

I really attract with the color but as you know this car is not for me. A semi problogger like me couldn’t afford this expensive car.
Mazda facelift Demio compact is popular in Japan and also sold in the US and other’s market worldwide. The Demio features new Skyactiv-G 1.3 liter direct enjection gasoline engine that could returns from 59 – 71 mp. The engine combined with a continously variable transmission and Mazda’s i-stop idling stop system. The engine makes 83 horsepower and 83 pound feet of torque…

Will this car come to Asean country? Let’s wait and see.
Mazda CX-5 crossover will be launched in April 2012. This car was previewed at 2011 Geneva Motor show. This will become the first Mazda’s next-gen Skyactiv engine with lightweight chasis technology. This technology will save 30 % fuel compare with 2008 figure. The finished car expect to join Frankfurt motor show in autumn and will be first production car from Mazda to sport its new Kodo design.
