We’ve known about hybrid or electric vehicle but maybe a little we know about the hydrogen fuel. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles has been developed because it have big potential to reduce vehicle depend on oil. The hydrogen also environmental friendly (still dunno about it). As I’ve wrote before that electric vehicle is not really environment friendly because of energy produced by coal plants while hydrogen is pollutants free and is a renewable source.

The source of energy from hydrogen could be refilled in about five minute. This is more shorter time than electric car that need to charge more than an hours to fully charge. The hydrogen powered car still new but its not far to produce. There’s carmaker make a research and try to make it as a reality such as :-

Toyota
Toyota has invest in the hydrogen vehicle development and their Toyota FCV-R concept will be release as a hydrogen vehicle. They keep forward to make the hydrogen car in reality by 2015.

Honda
Honda FCX Clarity look like Civic in their design but it is used hydrogen powered electric which help it run around 74 mpg.

Hyundai
Hyundai has been working on the hydrogen powered version on its Tucson SUV for a while. They will plan to lease more than 1,000 TUcson FCEVs this year and plan to produce in 2015.

Mercedes Benz
Mercedes benz hydrogen, B-Class F-CELL also a car that will used hydrogen source powered.

This is good innovation. Hopefully the hydrogen car will become reality in 2015. It is safe?? Dunno yet..

Mercedes-Benz new project to turned a B-Class hatchback into invisible version. It is using the idea of invisible car in the James Bond film ‘Die Another Day’. The invisibility cloak had drive on the streets of Stuttgart, Germany. The Mercedes employed dozens of technicians and use flexible LED mats covering one side of the car. The LED programmed to reproduce the image from the camera at the right scale , blending the vehicle into the background from a few feet away. It is using F-Cell hydrogen fuel cell powered car that producing only water vapor and heat for emissions,

It ain’t easy for carmaker to make their latest brands as a secret. The next generation of Mercedes Benz A Class is almost similar to their original concept as they went for a traditional hatchback design. A sportier looking three door hatch will follow the five door variant seen in these pictures while the series will also form the base for a mini CLS sports sedan. No detail for engine yet but it is expect same with 1.6 liter turbocharged gasoline four pot in 122HP and 156HP guises and 1.8 liter common rail turbodiesel with 109HP and 136HP in B-Class.

Using subway to make advertisement is a good way. Mercedes Benz has make an interactive ads at Berlin’s Friedrichstrasse subway station. It is to promote their Viano minivan. It is cool cause the ad allowed riders waiting for trains to open the door of a virtual Viano using their own car keys and watch what kinds of things climbed out. If they lucky, there’s a prize awaited them…
