There’s a collaboration between Renault-Nissan Alliance and Daimler that using Nissan Decherd plant to build Mercedes Benz 4 cylinder engines for Infiniti and Mercedes Benz starting in 2014. Nissan and Daimler will produce Mercedes Benz 4 cylinder gasoline engines together at Nissan assembly plant. The production of the engine will begin in 2014 and target capacity of 250,000 units per year. Nissan powertrain assembly in Decherd has begin in 1997 and now manufactures 4, 6 and 8 cylinder engines for the US production Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. The plant also houses crankshaft forging and cylinder block casting operations.
There’s nothing problem to collaborate with others carmaker. The important is they get win-win situation. Good luck for those carmaker.
UK market get third Gordini badged model from Renault, Wind roadster guise that have 2 option engines choice, 1.2 liter TCE 100 hp or 1.6 liter 133hp. The new model is available in Malta Blue metallic paint with twin white Gordini stripes. The exterior include new design of door mirror in white color, grille cowls and trim with 17 inch alloy wheels. Inside the car, there are blue and dark grey leather seats with embossed Gordini logo, satin chrome effect gearknob with blug GOrdini badge.
Another standard feature such as Bluetooth connectivity, multi functional Tune Point for USB connection, climate control and Thatcham category 1 alarm.
The Price of Gordini version is 1.2 TCe100 £15,195 and 1.6 VVT 133 £16,095.

The price in RM is about RM 73691.85 and RM 78056.62 ( currency on 14 July 2011) but it will reach RM 100K in Malaysia. I’m quite surprised that Renault has 1.2 liter car coz I though Renault just build the big luxury car. Will this car come to Malaysia? Wait and see.
Renault has reveal its pricelist for electric car Twizy. The car will begin sold at Europe for €6,990. This price is for Twizy 45 which is powered by a five-horsepower motor and which can be driven without a driving licence in certain countries.It is equipped with a 17hp motor and is available in a choice of two finishes: Urban and Technic, which will sell from €7,690 and €8,490 respectively.s, the Twizy isn’t much larger than a scooter, at 91 inches long and weighing just under 1,000 pounds. Customers can now pre-reserve their Twizy online at www.renault-ze.com. The deposit is deposit of just £20 and will take delivery early next year.
