Ford has planning to up their full size pickup market with all new Ford Atlas Concept. It is could boost their America’s best selling vehicle ; the Ford F150.
Ford group vice president, Global Product Development, Raj Nair said
“The Ford Atlas Concept previews the innovations that will transform what people expect from their pickup,With 36 years as America’s best-selling pickup, we are absolutely committed to setting the agenda in the truck market.”
The Atlas Concept will showing the future of next generation F150. The pickup will be more economical and versatille with upgraded function. The concept feature multiple tie-down points integrated into the cargo box walls. The 110 volt electric outlers help to charge any necessary tools.
The pickup using standard EcoBoost powertrain that could fuel economy. It also features auto stop-start and more aerodynamic design. The Active Wheel and Grille technology will shutters that alter airflow for the most optimal aerodynamics when cruising at highway speeds. It powered by generatirs built into the wheels.
The kinetic energy from these generators then charge a unique circuit of batteries for the shutters.
