Hyundai Veloster has launched on 30th November 2012 by Hyundai Sime Darby Motor at Shah Alam. It is unique because there’s only one door on the driver’s side and two doors on the passenger side. The 2013 Hyundai Veloster come with three variants : RM116,888 for Veloster 1.6 manual, RM121, 888 for Veloster 1.6 and the RM 132,888 for Veloster 1.6 Premium. The price include with insurance price and 5 year/300,000 km extended warranty and a 24 hour road assist service.
The 2012 Hyundai Veloster come with an start/stop button engine, a 7 inch LCD touch screen, steering wheel-mounted audio controls and an integrated six speaker audio system with a built in MP3 function and an auxillary input. The cabin has seats for four but none of the variants except the Premium trim have leather as standard. The seats wrapped with stitched leather, accompanied by matching coloured door linings in the Premium trim. The car also features a panoramic sunroof, a reverse camera, automatic climate control, built in Bluetooth capability and an enhanced loudspeaker system with a centre speaker, a sub woofer and an external amplifier.
For Veloster Premium variant it is equipped with LED projection headlamps, one inch larger 18 inch alloys and ‘wing type’ LED tail lamp. Safety features come with dual airbags, ABS, EBD and Brake Assist. The other two automatic variant have the VSM (vehicle stability management) and HAC (hill-start-assist control) as standard. Hyundai Veloster is powered by 1.6 litre Gamma D-CVVT engine that produces 132 hp at 6300 rpm and the maximum torque is 158 NM at 4850 rpm.
