Perodua MyVi : Daihatsu Sirion or Toyota Passo

Maybe you know that MyVi is based on Japanese car but there’s a confusion whether it is originati from Daihatsu Sirion or Toyota Passo.
I just research from internet and one of the fact is :-

Perodua Myvi is based on the 2nd generation of Daihatsu Sirion/Boon and share the same design with Toyota Passo, and again is being used by Subaru for their 2007 Subaru Justy.
Perodua = Daihatsu is the major shareholder

Daihatsu = Toyota owns 51% of its share

Subaru = Toyota owns 8.7% of Fuji Heavy Industries (parent company of Subaru)

This helps to explain the similarity of Perodua Myvi, Daihatsu Sirion/Boon, Toyota Passo and Subaru Justy.
