I know that this article is too late but maybe some of you never heard about it ( me also).
On Sept 13, there are a drag race pitted between 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car against Jett8′s Boeing 747-200F jetliner and was part of Changi Airport’s GP Festival.

The Boeing positioned on the runway and the Porsche on a parallel taxiway to start the race. With 500 spectators outdoors and hundreds watching via live video it show that the Porsche had won the race by just a couple of metres. It is cool..
