A great achievement from Proton R3 Motorspots after get podium finishes in an epic motorspots weekend. The Proton Satria Neo participate in the World Rally Championship (SWRC) in Great Britain, Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) in Hokkaido and Malaysian SUper Series (MSS) at the Sepang International Circuit.
Welshman, Tom Cave get the second place spot for Proton R3 in the Super 2000 World Rally Championship driving a Proton Satria Neo S2000 rally car. In the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC), Malaysian Rally legend, Karamjit Singh winning the 2WD category despite a puncute which lost him almost one and a half minute.
Karamjit’s Japanese teammate, Akira Bamba clinching his second consecutive APRC Junior Championship title after finishing first in the APRC Junior Category and second in 2WD.
At the hometown, Proton R3 Race Team pair of Syafiq Ali and James Veerapen clinched the Malaysian Super Series (MSS) at the Sepang International Circuit with one round to go in their Proton R3 Satria race car.
