Skoda enter the second phase of their EV project and make a road test at Czech city of Mlada Boleslav. The goal is to gain experience with their electric car in real life condition to prepares for their actual production model (dunno when to release). The Octavia Green E Line are using internal combustion engine for an electric powertrain that comprises of an electric motor. It could develop a maximum output of 85kW (114HP) and 270Nm (199.2 lb-ft) of constant torque, and a lithium-ion battery.

The Czech automaker says that the Octavia Green E Line can accelerate from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in 12 seconds and reach a top speed of 135 km/h (84 mph). The batteries offer a driving range of around 150km (93 miles).
