This month, many carmaker make their Super Bowl ad to expose their car. One of them is Chevrolet that featuring their truck Silverado. The ads make some controversy cause making fun of Ford. The ads is about Silverado driving at the devastation and destruction place based on prediction by the Mayan calendar that includes giant attack robots, meteors and frogs falling from the sky.
A group of friends, has been gathering in their meeting spot but one of their buddies is missing. And the scene is controversy when the actor said ‘Dave didn’t drive the longest-lasting most dependable truck on the road. Dave drove a Ford”. That make Ford sent a letter to NBC request the ad not run in the game and asking the automaker to pull it from the game, its websites and its Youtube channel.

I just want to write about Chevrolet Cruze after my friends interest on Chevrolet Cruze. It ain’t cheap car and our salary not reliable to buy this car. Like always, writing about it is easy than to go to showroom and buy it..
It is funny about this model name, why estate? I dunno, maybe it is wagon style and could drive in estate (hahahaha.. joke only). This 2012 Chevrolet Cruze estate will launch in Geneva motor show in March 2012. The new wagon is aimed to Europe market than America(whoa.. Asia not mention. ).

Chevrolet will giving one lucky filmmaker to set their commercial broadcast during the biggest game of the year, SUper Bowl XLVI. Filmmakers from 32 countries have chance to get publicities in “Everyday Hero” campaign. The winner will be choosen based on the vote from website http://chevroletroute66.msn.com/ . The voting has begins from 22 Dec 2011 untill 25 January 2011.
“With Chevrolet Route 66, we wanted to tap into the talents of creative people from every corner of the Earth to discover our next Super Bowl ad,” said Joel Ewanick, General Motors vice president and global chief marketing officer. “The submissions we received show that people from around the world share many of the same values and how Chevrolet plays a role in helping them along life’s road.”

Always in US that the recall case. Now, GM has to recall their 2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyons to replace seat belt buckle electric connector that may prevent visual or audible warnings that the driver’s seat belt is not fastened. Yes, like always it come from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report. Eventhough there’s no crash or injuries report about the fault but GM was discovered the probleum during an assembly plant audit at their GM truck plant in Shreveport, Louisiana.
