Another hybrid line up based on the best sold model in Europe, Yaris. The new Yaris hybrid will make debut at 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March. This new Yaris Hybrid will be used Toyota’s HSD powertrain that combines a new 1.5 liter petrol engine with a lighter, more compact electric motor, transaxle, inverter and battery pack. The system could deliver a total of 100 HO and standard automatic transmission.
It will also be offered with an exclusive, aerodynamically efficient exterior design. Just wait at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and we will get more detail..
I’m totally feeling weird when see the picture of this vehicle. And it make me surprised that this is Toyota Prius camper can conversion that will be show at 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon. It is very wacky vehicle that called ‘Campinn’. The transformation from the hybrid cool car to this vehicle use of Fibre Inforced Plastic (FRP) and the car increase length to 4,980mm and height to 2,050mm.
Maybe it look funny but maybe in future it will become a great vehicle… Just wait and see..

As we know, Toyota has been success with their hybrid in Prius. Now, they introduced the smallest hybrid to Japanese market. Known as Pris c to the rest of the world, the car is 1.5 liter hatchback and same length and width of pint sized Yaris. The car known as Aqya will make their premier at next North American International Auto Show and will market as Prius c(as mentioned before).

Hopefully this Aqua/Prius C will come to Malaysia with reasonable price. The hybrid car need to get more exposure and reasonable price for consumer…
Toyota Prius hybrid became the most selling model in Japan untill November. If they continue their high sales, it will win the most popular car for 2 straight year. The sales in first 11 months of this year is 229,530 compare to Honda Motor Fit compact 192,634 has been sold. Prish has sell 315,669 vehicles last year and it show that the sales is a bit down (due to earthquake this year) but still good achievement..
