Do you know , 3 from 4 vehicle in Malaysia run under inflated tyres. This will short their tyre life and waste more petrol. Michelin, a famous tyremaker has made campaign called ” Fill Up With Air Michelin (FUWA) ” at the specific location in Selangor, Melaka, Perak, Pahang and Johor. In the campaign, Michelin expertise will check the tyre in free services. They also will educate driver the importance of the right tyre pressure.
“Driving with the wrong tyre pressure … can also seriously compromise safety,” said Michelin Malaysia Sdn Bhd managing director Yves Pouliquen.
“If we can educate 5,000 motorists on FUWA, it would translate to 3,750 car owners reducing fuel consumption of some 47,000 litres per year not including added costs of replacement of tyres and hundreds of thousands ringgit worth of damages from road accidents.”
The driver also can participate in a simple quiz and be in the running for an opportunity to participate in the Michelin Pilot Experience programme and drive a Formula 3 car and supercars at the Sepang F1 circuit.

1. Tesco Melaka and Tesco Manjung, Perak (4-5 Jun 2011)
2. R & R MTD Temerloh to KL and R & R MTD Gambang to Kuantan (11-12 Jun 2011)
