TomTom has released a new update for its iPhone navigation app on the iPhone 5. The new development being designed to take advantage of the larger screen. The new app is optimized to run in full screen mode and thus allows driver to see a larger area of the map when behind the wheel.
“TomTom’s navigation app for iPhone and iPad is fully functional with or without signal. Offline maps mean that drivers will stay connected to accurate, reliable and up-to-date navigation wherever they go. And, unlike other navigation apps, they won’t incur costly roaming charges when navigating abroad,” a company statement reads.
